Benches on the Avenue: prizes were awarded to 4 of the 25 handmade wooden benches that were spread out along Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park. The benches were enhanced and decorated by the work of local artists.

Professional art included watercolors, pastels, oils, mosaics, stained glass, jewelry, pottery and sculpture were exhibited and available for purchase.

Professional musicians performed throughout the day.

Child-friendly attractions including hands-on activities and entertainment provided by face painters, balloon sculpurists were featured throughout the day.

Twisted Vine provided wine tasting and sampling at the Van Gogh Vineyard.

5 restaurants and vendors offered specialty foods, snacks and desserts.

The day's festivities started off with a parade starting at Central Middle School (181st and Oak Park Avenue) and ending at the Festival.

New this year was the addition of the Gala event to honor our sponsors, the local dignitaries and our artist communities. The Opening Night Gala was held the night before at Cavallini's in the Park.

We hope you brought the whole family to experience a day of relaxation and stimulation revolving around the arts. Even if you have never attended an art festival before, we hope you came and enjoyed something new and exciting! We are sure you are glad you did.

If you would like to be involved in the decision making and be a part of next year's exiting event, check out the volunteer pages!
